Schedule compliance rules selection in MR plotting
When creating the base shift rotation for MRs, you should perform schedule compliance validation. This validation helps you to identify any potential schedule-related issues such as overtime scenarios or violations with scheduling practices or rules. Corrections to the schedule can be made before the MR or rotation row is activated.
Schedule compliance can be configured in various ways. MR supports schedule compliance validation using calculation groups or schedule compliance groups. The Assignment and Labor Metrics panel in the MR edit screen can be configured to hide unneeded options.
One possible schedule compliance configuration applies one or more schedule compliance groups to each calculation group. In this configuration, each schedule compliance group contains a calculation group filter. If schedule compliance is configured this way, then the SC Group field and column in the MR edit screen should be set to HiddenUI using Config mode. This setting hides the SC Group field, and users can specify a calculation group for each of the rows in the MR. Schedule compliance rules that are applicable to the specified calculation group are used to validate the shifts in the row.
An alternative configuration uses schedule compliance groups with multiple rules. Each schedule compliance group is associated with employees using filters other than the calculation group, such as the employee type filter. If schedule compliance is configured this way, then the Calc Group field and column in the MR edit screen should be set to HiddenUI using Config mode. This setting hides the Calc Group field, and users can specify a schedule compliance group for each of the rows in the MR. Schedule compliance rules in the specified schedule compliance group are used to validate the shifts in the row.
