Showing descriptions on the schedule pages

You can configure the schedule pages so that all schedule details applicable to the employee's shift are displayed, including the associated descriptions. Security group permissions are used to control whether the schedule detail and its description are shown or hidden.

Descriptions for these schedule details can be shown:

  • Job
  • Team
  • Project
  • Department
  • Docket
  • Activity

For example, you can control whether the docket description is shown in the schedule details of the My Schedule page using the FIELD_MYSCHEDULE_TAB_MYSCHEDULE_DOCKET_DESC element. This element is found on the MOB_SCHEDULE maintenance form. To show docket descriptions, configure the permission of this element to view or Act. When available, the docket description is shown below the docket name in the schedule details.

Note: In schedule pages, you cannot display a description without also showing the name. The name can be displayed without the description.
