Configuring the DBLookup query

Mobility DBLookups support specific query configuration, with the actual modifications being completed in the desktop application.

  1. In the desktop application, select Maintenance > System Administration > Maintenance Forms.
  2. Click Edit beside the maintenance form that contains your required DBLookup field.
  3. In the Form Fields section, locate your required field.
    Note: The field control is MobLookupUI. This UI should not be modified.
  4. Locate the Field Parameters column where the DBLookup query resides.
    Note: The Select statement and the columns should not be modified.
  5. To configure the query, you have these options:
    • Modify the 'From' and 'Where' clause in the query.

    • Modify the 'Order By' column names (by Default _LOC_NAME).
    • Modify the columns on which you want to search (By Default _LOC_NAME).
