Customizing the Editor
You can modify the Configuration Editor feature to match your unique needs. Some common customizations include these changes:
- Entity types available from the drop-down-list box in the Operations section
- Fields (in the Advanced Search area, the add or edit windows, or the filters in the Operations section)
- Field labels
- Message text
- Controls (text that appears on buttons)

Columns available in the various Results tables.
This table describes entity types that have additional information available within their Results tables that is not displayed by default:

Corporate Entity | External ID | An identifier for the corporate entity that is used to load data from an external system. | No |

You can set security permissions using Config Mode, to prevent Configuration Editor users from:
- performing certain operations.
