Customized rounding rules created through STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS

If you made customized rules using the STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS registry parameter, they are compatible with enhanced rounding rules. However, you must ensure that you do not create conflicts if you choose to apply both methods. Here are some scenarios to consider:
  • You are satisfied with the rounding in place through the STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS registry parameter: Leave it enabled and do not configure enhanced rounding rules.

  • You have created custom rounding rules using the STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS registry parameter and you want to make use of enhanced rounding rules instead: In this case, simply disable the Java bean in STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS.

  • You can also continue to use your custom class and, at the same time, perform additional rounding through Enhanced Rounding Rules. The custom class takes priority so make sure that your enhanced rounding rules do not conflict with what has been configured through the STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS parameter.

Details about the STAFF_ROUNDING_CLASS parameter can be found in the on-premises document Registry Parameters Reference Guide available on docs.infor.com.,
