Localizing report PDF fonts

You can specify the font to use when creating PDF output for a report. You must specify fonts for locales that require specific characters, or the PDF report output will not be translated properly.

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Registry Maintenance.
  2. Select the system > pdfReports registry path.
  3. Set these registry parameters to reflect the required language:
    pdfJapFontName
    Set to HeiseiMin-w3.
    pdfJapFontEncoding
    Set to UniJIS-UCS2-H.
    pdfKorFontName
    Set to HYGoThic-Medium.
    pdfKorFontEncoding
    Set to UniKS-UCS2-H.
  4. To set the registry parameters:
    1. Select the parameter.
    2. Click Edit.
    3. Specify the necessary value in the Variable Value field.
    4. Click Save.
