Language packs
This chapter describes how to load and apply language packs. You must be able to install fix packs to work with language packs.
To install language packs, use:
- SQL scripts to prepare the application.
- The Dataloader to install the translated XML application data.
Installing language packs involves these tasks:
- Configure the application for multi-byte (UTF-8) characters.
- Load language packs.
- Activate data localization.
This information is prepared and loaded:
- Language IDs
- Locale IDs
- Data localization values
- Error messages
- Fields
- System messages
- Form Builder reports and forms
Each language folder contains the files with a timestamp and test track number preceding the file name in the format of YYYY-MM-DD_TT#####_<FILENAME>.xml.
