Importing non-table specific translation files

After the translation file has been exported and translated, you can import the file into the application. To use this feature, the language file being imported must be available to the user and the target language must already be created.

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Data Localization > Language.
  2. Click Edit beside the language that you want to import.
  3. Click the Import link.
  4. Specify or browse to the location and file name of the translation file you want to import.
    The path to the file being imported refers to the server machine, not your local machine.
  5. Click Import.
    The selected language is populated with the data in the translation file. Any existing translations for the selected language will be replaced with the translations in the translation file. For information about selectively importing data, see Importing translation files by table.
