HR Management P2P integration

One of the main outputs of the Workforce Management system is the payroll export file. Workforce Management has an integration to send it to the HR Management (HRM) system according to the specifications that HRM expects. This integration is point-to-point, so it is file based. Job Scheduler tasks must be set up and defined based on business requirements.

To enable this integration, an Infor HRM Payroll Export task has been provided. This task offers a starting point for mapping the Workforce Management Payroll Export to HR Management. Specifically, the Workforce Management Payroll Export file populates the PRTRCSV on HR Management. Then the PRTRCSV is updated by PR530 to create time records.

Transfer method

For the integrations between Workforce Management and HR Management, SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol, also known as Secure File Transfer Protocol) is set up and used to transfer the files between the products. The required tasks for HR Management must be set up manually.

On the FTP server, the /interfacefiles/payroll_export folder is predefined for the payroll export file to be exported to HR Management. After the payroll export file is generated using the Payroll Export task, the file must be uploaded into this folder, where it is retrieved by HR Management.
