Jobs

The jobs that an employee is capable of performing are listed in the EMP_JOBS field. The jobs are listed in sequence separated by a tilde (~) symbol.

For example:

JOB1~JOB2~JOB3……

The number of jobs an employee can have using the Employee Import is limited to a string size of 200 characters. Therefore, shorter job code names allow for more job codes to be listed for an employee.

An existing job is end-dated if the OVR_END_DATE of a new job is prior to the existing job's OVR_END_DATE.
