Performing a labor metric punch
Labor metrics are used to track, measure, and control the amount of work, time, and costs devoted to different activities and tasks within a company. Employees can perform different labor metric punches at the Virtual Clock to keep track of these activities and tasks.
The clock reader returns to its idle state.
Note: If the specified badge number or labor code is invalid, an
appropriate error message is displayed. If the Clock Server is not available, a
message is displayed that the transaction has been accepted and stored locally;
that is, no validation is done. The Virtual Clock will then return to its idle
state for the next punch.
