Creating a reader for the TimeTrack clock

Every device that uses the TimeTrack clock requires its own reader. This procedure outlines the required fields to create a TimeTrack reader for your device.

  1. Select Maintenance > Reader Setup > Reader Organization > Readers > ..
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. Specify these required values for a TimeTrack reader:
    Reader
    Reader Name
    Reader Type
    Specify TimeTrack.
    IP Address
    Specify an IP address for your TimeTrack reader.
    Swipe Method
    Specify Default.
    Description
    Specify a description for the reader.
    Reader Group
    Specify the reader group for the reader.
    Reader Zone
    Specify 0.
    Time Zone
    Specify the time zone of the reader you are creating.
  4. Click Save.
