Enabling time approval

The time approval feature is not enabled by default and must be configured.

Note: Time approval should not be associated with a directionless swipe configuration. With a directionless swipe configuration, time approval cannot be displayed on the clock until swipes have been sent to the WFM application for processing. For this reason, time approval cannot be presented to the user at the clock with a directionless swipe configuration.

To enable the time approval feature, you must complete these high-level tasks:

  1. Enable time approval in the WFM application.

  2. Configuring the Time Approval Records task.

  3. Configuring the clock for time approval.
