Additional information for GPRS support and configuration
These scenarios should be noted when working with GPRS connectivity for the 9000 Series clock:
- The Local Area Network (LAN) connection will always take precedence over a Wi-Fi and GPRS connection if all three are configured and connected. Likewise, the LAN or Wi-Fi connection will take precedence over a GPRS connection if either one is configured and connected at the same time.
- Further, a reboot of the 9000 Series clock is required to enable the GPRS
connection in these scenarios:
- If LAN or Wi-Fi is already configured and at a later point the GPRS adapter is plugged into the clock.
- If LAN or Wi-Fi is already configured and at a later point the GPRS adapter is removed from the clock.
- If the GPRS connection is enabled on the clock and the Wi-Fi adapter is plugged in without a valid configuration a restart is required after the Wi-Fi connection is configured.
