Mapping Volume Type properties

By default, the volume type REVENUE is mapped to the FCIT_SALES column within the Budget Creation module. If there are additional volume types to be forecasted and displayed within the budget, then map those volume types to the desired budgeting column.

Use the columns FCIT_ITEM1 to FCIT_ITEM20 for mapping:

  1. Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Setup > Volume Type.
  2. Edit the volume type.
  3. Click the new row icon beside the Save button under the Volume Type Property heading. A new row is displayed under the Forecast Volume Property heading.
  4. In the new row under the Column Name heading, specify a column name. Use one of the FCIT_ITEM1 to FCIT_ITEM20 columns. For example, FCIT_ITEM8.
  5. Click Save. Your new volume type column will be displayed when you create a new budget.
