Viewing editing and deleting location types

To view, edit, and delete location types:

  1. Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Labor Budgeting > Labor Budgeting Settings > Labor Budgeting Location Types.
    The Labor Budgeting Location Types page is displayed.
  2. If the location type to delete is the parent of another location type, then modify the parent location type for that location type. For example, temporarily change the parent location type for STORE from DISTRICT to DEPARTMENT.

    1. Click the Edit link for STORE.

      The Labor Budgeting Location Types Detail page is displayed.

    2. Select DEPARTMENT using the Parent Location Type lookup.
    3. Click Save.
  3. Delete the location type to remove. For example, delete the DISTRICT location type.

    1. Click the Edit link for DISTRICT.

      The Labor Budgeting Location Types Detail page is displayed.

    2. Select the Del check box.
    3. Click Save.
  4. Modify the parent location type of the location type you modified earlier to reflect the correct hierarchy. For example, change the parent location type for STORE from DEPARTMENT to REGION.

    1. Click the Edit link for STORE.

      The Labor Budgeting Location Types Detail page is displayed.

    2. Select REGION using the Parent Location Type lookup.
    3. Click Save.
