Variable Coefficient Column

The application uses the following formula to calculate the variable coefficient:

• Generating a new plan sets this number to 1 (one).
• Editing the variable hours in a plan recalculates this number.
• You cannot edit the minimum hours or staffing requirement hours because these are either generated by the system or they originate in a reference budget.
• Updating a plan resets this number to 1 (one), because the staffing requirement hours are updated and the variable hours are recalculated.
• Regenerating workload resets this number to 1 (one).
