Lock the Worksheet

The root budget manager locks the Worksheet when the plan data is final.

At the end of the solicitation process, the root budget manager locks the budget or forecast to finalize it. The Lock button is displayed only for the root budget manager of a plan. In the solicitation process, the Lock button is disabled when the budget or forecast is in Pending or To Review states: The Lock button is enabled only after all child locations have submitted their changes.

Locking a plan changes the Lock button to Unlock, and the state changes to Locked for all locations. The plan is then accessible as view-only at all levels. To edit it the plan further, the root budget manager must unlock it. See Unlocking the worksheet.

When the forecast is locked, the system updates the Master version with the corporate budget manager’s last Working version. The Adjusted Forecast Sales column does not override the System Forecast Sales column, which retains the numbers forecasted by the system.
