Aggregating Actual Non-Productive Hours

Whenever new non-productive hours, such as vacation, holidays, unpaid leave, and sick days, are created, they must be aggregated for the Budget Creation module to use.

The Labor Budgeting - Non Prod Hour Summary Aggregation task aggregates historical non-productive hours from the WORK_DETAIL and WORK_SUMMARY tables so they can be used to estimate future non-productive hours in bottom-up projections.

This task stores the aggregated historical non-productive hours from the WORK_DETAIL and WORK_SUMMARY tables into the FCST_NONPROD_SMRY table.

To aggregate actual non-productive hours:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  2. Click Add Schedule.
    The Job Scheduler page is displayed.
  3. In the Task Description field, specify the name of the task.
  4. In the Task Type area, select Java Task, and then select Labor Budgeting - Non Prod Hour Summary Aggregation from the drop-down list.
  5. Complete the other fields on the Job Scheduler page. See the Infor WFM Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click OK.
    The Task Schedules page is displayed. The task you created is displayed in the list.
  8. Click Parameters next to the new task.
    The Aggregate Non Productive Hours Summary page is displayed.
  9. Specify this information:
    Start date offset
    The number of days by which to offset the first day of data to aggregate from the system date. If the start date has already passed, specify a positive number.
    End date offset
    The number of days by which to offset the last day of data to aggregate from the system date. If the end date has already passed, specify a positive number.
    Non Productive Hour Code
    Select a non-productive hour code using the lookup, or click ALL to include all non-productive hour codes. For information on setting up non-productive hours, see Non-Productive Hours Setup.
  10. Click Continue to save the task parameters.
  11. Click OK.
