Overriding Driver Distributions

You can create a Budget Creation-specific driver distribution that overrides the LFSO distribution. This driver distribution is configured for all drivers and for all locations. The driver distribution can have different distributions for each day of the week, with the start and end dates that you specify. All drivers share the same Budget Creation-specific distribution for the specified time period.

If a dynamic distribution is configured in LFSO, and you do not create a distribution for Budget Creation, then uses the default Flat distribution, which distributes the values equally across all hours of operation.

To create a Budget Creation-specific driver distribution:

  1. Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Labor Budgeting > Labor Budgeting Settings > Driver Distribution.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
    The Driver Distribution Detail page is displayed.
  3. Select the date range to which to apply this distribution, using the Start Date and End Date lookups.
  4. Select a static distribution to use for each day, using the Distribution lookups.
    The distributions are defined in LFSO. You can view and edit them using:

    Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Forecast > Distribution Setup > Distribution

  5. Click Save.
