Setting Up Archiving and Purging Policies
The budgeting modules use the archiving policy definitions listed in the table below to archive and purge data in the database.
- Archiving data copies it to the archive schema.
- Purging data removes it permanently from the database.
You should create a parent task that includes these definitions in the same order as in the table, below.

| LB TEMPORARY FORECASTING DATA | Replaces the Labor Budgeting cleanup task. |
| LB PRE BUP DATA | Purges the rows with data from a bottom-up projection from the FCST_DRIVER table, which is connected to data archived by the LB BUP DATA policy. |
| LB BUP DATA | Archives the data for the layout and history from bottom-up projections. |
| LB SUMMARY DATA | Purges the data for the aggregated bottom-up projection that is no longer required. |
| LB TEMPORARY DATA | Purges the data for the intermediate workload summary for bottom-up projections. |
