Employee Preferred Job Sort Order
The
Employee Preferred Job Sort Order prioritizes assigning employees to
shifts that match their preferred job. Preference is given to employees that have the job
required to perform the shift designated as the preferred job in their employee profile. Employees that do not have a shift's job as a preferred job qualification may still be
assigned to the shift. This occurs when no employees with the preferred job qualification are
available or to satisfy other scheduling rules. This includes employees that have the job as a
secondary or temporary job qualification. It also includes employees that do not have the job
in their employee profile, if the Honor Position rule is not selected in the
Auto-Assignment group.
