Staff group analysis report

You can generate a staff group analysis report using the Job Scheduler Task to analyze existing LFSO configurations and provide recommendations for manual conversion to Auto-assignment. The report facilitates efficient grouping of staff into auto-assignment groups, providing in-depth insights into staff groups and employee-specific details.

The report, which is generated in Microsoft Excel format, contains four sheets corresponding to different aspects of staff group analysis. Each sheet offers clear and organized information about the staff groups, their configurations, and number of employees assigned to each staff group.

This list displays the labels, descriptions, and recommendations included for each sheet in the report:

  • Unassigned Staff Groups: Shows the staff groups that have not been assigned to any employees. The report recommends reviewing and removing unassigned staff groups from the definitions.
  • SGs (SameParams&Rule-1Loc): Identifies locations with multiple staff groups sharing the same configuration parameters. The report recommends investigating why redundant staff groups were defined and reviewing employee-specific information. Recommends removing redundant staff groups that are no longer needed.
  • SGs (SameParams&DiffRule-1Loc): Highlights locations with multiple staff groups having the same configuration parameters but different schedule rules. The report recommends investigating the reason for multiple staff groups with similar parameters but different schedule rules. It also recommends reviewing employee-specific information and either correcting staff group definitions or removing redundant ones.
  • SGs(SameParams&Rules-DiffLoc): Flags staff groups with identical configuration parameters and schedule rules but assigned to different locations. The report recommends considering grouping staff groups with identical parameters and rules into one auto-assignment group for use in multiple locations, based on findings from previous sheets.
The staff group analysis report provides several benefits to users:
  • Efficiency enhancement: By automating the assignment process, this report reduces manual effort and saves time.
  • Improved organization: Users can categorize staff members into auto-assignment groups based on relevant parameters, enhancing organizational structure.
  • Accuracy and consistency: The report ensures precise categorization of staff groups and consistency in auto-assignment groups according to organizational rules and attributes.
  • Flexibility: Users have the flexibility to input decisions and adjust labels or rules for grouping as needed.
  • Comprehensive documentation: Users can maintain complete documentation of the conversion process, with the report serving as a valuable reference and aid in audits.
