Generating LFSO schedules manually
You can manually generate a week-long schedule for locations that have one or more Auto-Assignment groups.
- Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Schedule > Auto Assignment.
- Select Auto-assignment Groups to select individual Auto-Assignment groups to generate the schedule. Or, select Auto-assignment Schedule Profile to select a schedule profile.

Follow these steps if you selected Auto-Assignment
Groups:

Specify this information:
- Name
- Specify a name for the schedule.
- Location(s)
- Select the location or locations
that you are scheduling. Note: When scheduling more than one location, the locations must have the same Schedule Requirement Interval configured in their location setup.
- Start Date
- Specify the start date for the schedule.

In the Staffing
Requirements section, select how Auto-Assignment
generates the staffing requirements for the location or locations:
- Load requirements minimum from location info
- Select this option to create a schedule based on the minimum staffing levels that are defined for the locations.
- Calculate requirements from the forecast
- Select this option to have Auto-Assignment generate staffing requirements from the forecast. This option uses the forecast and productivity standards in conjunction with the minimums to create the schedule.
- Load existing requirements
- Select this option to create a schedule based on the locations' existing interval requirements. Before using this option, you must generate a workload for the locations.
- Select the Auto-Assignment groups that you want to use to make the schedule from the Group(s) field, and then click Add.
- If you have selected more than one Auto-Assignment group, then click and drag the groups to set the Priority order. The group with the Priority value of 1 selects employees first based on the group's employee filters, followed by other groups in ascending order.

If you selected Auto-assignment Schedule Profile, then
specify this information:
- Auto-assignment Schedule Profile
- Select the schedule profile you are using to generate the schedule.
- Name
- Specify a name for the schedule.
- Start Date
- Specify the start date for the schedule.

Select the Enforce Schedule
Crossover check box to enable the generation of crossover
shifts, which overlap the end of the current schedule period and continue into
the next schedule period.

Select Simple Scheduling to create a
simple schedule, bypassing Auto Assignment's optimization engine.
Note: When you select Simple Scheduling, the Group(s) field for Auto Assignment Groups is no longer mandatory.

- Click Go and then click OK to confirm.
The Auto-Assignment feature sends you a workmail notification when the Auto-Assignment process is complete. The workmail includes a link to view each schedule that was generated by the process.
