Setting an API Consumer to Active or Inactive

To set an API Consumer to active or inactive, complete these steps.

  1. Log in to Workforce Management.
  2. Navigate to Maintenance > Security > API Security > API Consumer.
  3. In the API Consumer Name box, select Edit for the API Consumer Name that you want to make active or inactive.
  4. Specify this information:
    API Consumer Active
    To make an API Consumer active for an API, select the API Consumer Active check box for your API. If you want to remove access for an API Consumer, deselect the check box.
    User
    Select the default user for the consumer.
    Note: If you are creating a new API consumer for the WFM Suite, select IONAPIUSER_CORE.
  5. Click Save.
This change makes the API active, but doesn't change who has access to the API. See Configuring an API Suite for more information on how to control access to the API.
