Approving time off
You might see either of these items in the menu, depending on your system configuration:
- Select to use the newer version of the time off approval page.
- Select to use the older version of the time off approval page.
The newer Approve Time Off page is available starting with the October 2024 update of Workforce Management. For new implementations starting with this update, the Approve Time Off is shown by default. The Time Off Approval page is still available, but hidden by default.
For existing sites that upgrade to the October 2024 release, the Time Off Approval page is still shown and the Approve Time Off page is hidden.
Use the security settings for the maintenance forms to configure which page is shown for your site. There is a page for the WFM site and a separate page for the Self Service Portal.
These are the maintenance forms to enable for the newer Approve Time Off page:
- Admin Portal Approve Time Off
- Self Service Portal Approve Time Off
These are the maintenance forms to enable for the older Time Off Approval page:
- Time Off Approval
- SS_PORTAL_MENU_APPROVE_TIME_OFF
