Displaying the team description on the Time Off Approval page

On the Time Off Approval page, employees are listed under their team. By default, the team name is displayed, but you can configure the page to show the team description instead. For example, you may want to display the team description if the team name stores internal values that are not easily identifiable to supervisors.

  1. Select Time Off Approval.
  2. Click the Turn ON config mode icon.
  3. Click the localization (orange diamond) icon to the right of the Team/Employee column (TOP_TEAM_INFO_CONFIG).
  4. Specify teamLocDesc in the Default field to display the team description.
    Note: If a team description does not exist for a team, the team name (teamLocName) is displayed instead.
  5. Click Save and close the window.
  6. Click the Turn OFF config mode icon.
The team description is displayed instead of the team name on the Time Off Approval page.
