Creating new shift labels

Customers can create labels for shifts at the time they create the shift. You might want to do this if you, for example, missed creating the label the preconfigured label name is showing up.

Note: This feature is not available by default. System administrators must enable it in Config Mode.
  1. Navigate to Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definitions > Shift Configuration.
  2. Select the Unit for which the shift is to be configured and click the Create New Shift icon.
  3. On the Create New Shift screen, use the New Shift Label field directly below Preconfigured Shift Label to configure the new name. Field names must be unique. An error message displays if you specify a name that already exists. Include an asterisk (*) at the beginning of the new field name to make it required.
  4. Click Save.
Added fields can be renamed or deleted. Navigate to the Shift Configuration page, select the Team and the schedule that requires changing or deletion and make changes.
