Adding skill types

To add a skill type:

  1. Select Maintenance > Employees > Skill Type.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. Specify this information:
    Skill type
    Specify the name of the skill type.
    Description
    Specify a brief description of the skill type.
    Stskltyp Sched Related
    Select the check box for the skills in this skill type to display on the employee contact card for Advanced Schedule View.
    Note: To control the display of individual skills within a skill type, use the Stskl Sched Related check box on the skill page. Both the check box for skill type and skill must be selected for the skill to display on the employee contact card.
