Alerts
Alerts are automated messages that notify users about specific circumstances. For example, you can set up an alert to notify supervisors about employees who have clocked in late or clocked out early.
The application provides these default alert definitions:
- Not Clocked In: Lists employees who are scheduled to work, but have not yet clocked in.
- Late or Left Early: Lists employees who arrived late or left early.
- Clock Compliance: Lists employees who are not in compliance with the schedule compliance rule.
- Budget Pending Alert: Sends an alert when the forecast or budget is pending (LB2).
- Budget To Review Alert: Sends an alert when the forecast or budget is ready for review (LB2).
- Unauthorized Timesheets: Lists employees with unauthorized timesheets.
- Unapproved Time Alert: Sends an alert for unapproved time records.
- Inactive Clocks: Creates a mail message that lists all clocks that have not communicated with the server within a defined period.
- Employees with Expiring Skills: Lists employees who have a skill qualification that is expiring in the next 60 days.
- Employees with Expiring Job: Lists employees who have a job qualification that is expiring in the next 60 days.
- Employees with Expired Skills: Lists employees that are scheduled to work shifts with a skill qualification that is expired.
- Employees with Expired Job: Lists employees that are scheduled to work shifts with a job qualification that is expired.
- Employees Approaching Overtime: Notifies supervisors when employees are approaching overtime.
Alert configuration
As the system administrator, perform these tasks to configure alerts:
- Create alert definitions
- Schedule alert tasks in the Job Scheduler
