Accessing the Self Service Portal

The Self Service Portal can be accessed on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.

You can access the Self Service Portal through Infor OS Portal or Infor Go, or using a direct URL in a stand-alone implementation.

For a full list of requirements for client workstations and mobile devices, see the Infor Workforce Management Technical Requirements Guide.

In Infor OS Portal implementations, you access WFM using the Infor WFM option in the app switcher. After selecting Infor WFM, you are directed to the appropriate application depending on the default application that is set for your security group.

In a stand-alone implementation, you access WFM using a direct URL in your browser. After logging in, you are directed to the appropriate application depending on the default application that is set for your security group.

If you have access to both applications, you can switch between them after logging in.

In the Self Service Portal, use the drop-down at the top of the application menu to switch to the Admin Portal (desktop application).

In the desktop application, click the Self Service Portal button in the header menu to switch to the Self Service Portal.

Note: The desktop application (Admin Portal) is not supported on a phone or tablet.

In Infor Go, you access WFM using the Infor WFM option. If the registry parameter is set to Portal, you are directed to the Self Service Portal. If the registry parameter is set to Mobility, you are directed to the mobility application.

For new implementations, the registry is set to Portal by default. For upgrades for existing customers, the registry is set to Mobility by default. If a value is not provided in the registry, then Portal is used as the default.

Note: For users accessing WFM through Infor Go, the default application does not apply.
