Approve Time Off page

You can use the Approve Time Off page to review, approve, or deny time off requests for your team.

The Approve Time Off page shows time off requests for your direct reports over a rolling four-week period, starting with the current week by default. You can also view time off requests for one or more teams and change the displayed date range.

The requests are shown in the calendar, with different icons representing the status of each request. This table shows the icons on the Approve Time Off page:

Icon Status Description
View Employee Balances icon View Employee Balances An employee's available accrued hours for different types of time off requests as of a specific date. This icon is displayed next to an employee's name in the grid.

You can view a balance summary table showing all balance details as of a selected date, which is set to the current date by default, by clicking View Employee Balances. Select Config Mode to localize the columns in the Balances dialog box and hide the Balances as of field for users in specific security group.

Pending approval icon Pending approval An employee's time off request is submitted and pending approval.

Pending cancellation icon Pending cancellation A time off request an employee requests to cancel.
Approved icon Approved An employee's time-off request is approved.
Cancellation denied icon Cancellation denied A time off request an employee requested to cancel but the request was denied.
Recalled icon Recalled An employee's time off request that is recalled by the supervisor.
Canceled icon Canceled A time off request that the employee cancels.
Denied icon Denied An employee's time off request is denied.
Holiday icon Holiday A day in the calendar is a holiday.

A legend is displayed together with the calendar. To hide the legend, click Display Options and clear the Show Legend check box.
