Review Clocks configuration
Employees can use the Review Clocks page in the Self Service Portal
to review their recorded clock punches for previous shifts, and to add missing clocks as
needed.
The Review Clocks page shows warning for days that require an employee's attention, such as a day with a scheduled shift for which the employee did not record any clock punches. There are two basic types of warnings:
- "No clocks recorded" warnings can be generated for days with scheduled shifts and no clocks.
- "Clocks out of sequence" warnings can be generated for shifts where the clocks are not recorded in a specified sequence.
These warning are generated by a scheduled task in the Job Scheduler, based on rules that you define. To configure how warnings are displayed, complete these steps:
- Define one or more Review Clocks rules to specify the types of warnings that will be generated.
- Assign Review Clocks rules to employee calculation groups.
- Schedule the Review Clocks Warnings task.
