Enforce calendar day cut
The Enforce Calendar Day Cut check box can be selected to count each hour in a shift based on the calendar date when the hour occurs. This check box is hidden by default, and system administrators can expose it in Config mode by updating the security permissions.

For example, a schedule compliance group includes a Minimum Hours Per Day
rule that is violated when employees are assigned less than six hours a day. An employee is
assigned a shift from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. If Enforce Calendar
Day Cut is selected, then the shift violates the rule on both days. The
violations occur because 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM is attributed to the first day and 12:00 AM to
5:00 AM is attributed to the second day. If Enforce Calendar
Day Cut is cleared, then no violation occurs because all eight hours in the
shift are counted towards the first day.
