Filter: Calculation Groups
You can use the Calculation Group assigned to an employee to determine if an employee is included when a compliance rule is validated. This employee filter allows you to specify which employees, based on calculation groups, to include in the execution of a compliance rule or set of compliance rules.
For example, if you have a Calculation Group for full-time salaried employees, and you want a set of compliance rules to only apply to full-time salaried employees, a Calculation Group filter can simplify data selection for those compliance rules.
Calculation Groups group employees that share the same pay rules; you can use the Calculation Group for a similar purpose in schedule compliance.
Overview
Specify the Calculation Groups that you want to include or exclude for the rule.
If the filter includes employees that belong to the specified Calculation Group, the filtered employees pass to the associated schedule compliance rule.
If the filter excludes employees that belong to the specified Calculation Group, the remaining employees pass to the associated schedule compliance rule.
Example
For example, if you have a Calculation Group set up to specify part-time employees, you can select that calculation group in the drop-down list.
Employees that meet this filter pass to an associated schedule compliance rule.
