Activating Schedule Compliance Groups

After you have configured all of the rule and filter instances for the schedule compliance group, you can activate the group.

Note: Before you activate a schedule compliance group, review the modification limitations described in Modifying Schedule Compliance Groups.

Select Maintenance > Schedule Compliance > Schedule Compliance Groups.
Click Edit next to the schedule compliance group that you want to activate.
The Group Detail page is displayed.
Specify this information, as needed:

Group Name

Enter a name for the schedule compliance group.

Group Description

Enter a short description for the schedule compliance group.

Is Enabled

Select to enable the schedule compliance group. As soon as you select Is Enabled, assuming the Effective Start Date and the Effective End Date range is current, any schedule changes will validate against the configured rule and filter instances in this schedule compliance group.

Effective Start Date

Specify the date you want the schedule compliance group to start being effective. Defaults to the current date.

Effective End Date

Specify the date you want the schedule compliance group to stop being effective. Defaults to January 1, 3000.
Click Save.

The schedule compliance group is now active within the dates specified. All schedule changes will be validated against the configured filter and rule instances in this schedule compliance group.
