Rules and filters available for use in a schedule compliance group exist in the rule or filter catalog. The Schedule Compliance module contains a comprehensive catalog of core rules and filters for use in schedule compliance groups. See Core Rule Catalog and Core Filter Catalog.

Error

An error violation prevents the schedule or shift, depending on the Scheduling module you are using, from being published. Schedulers must resolve error violations by changing the schedule.

Filter

A schedule compliance filter selects the schedule data to pass to the associated schedule compliance rules. Filters and rules are associated by the schedule compliance groups.

Instance

A rule or filter instance is a configured rule or filter that exists in a schedule compliance group. Rule or filter instances that exist in an active schedule compliance groups validate schedule data. See Schedule Compliance Groups.

Labor Forecasting and Schedule Optimization (LFSO)

A Scheduling module that uses an optimization engine to generate schedules. For more information, see the Infor WFM LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.

Multi-View Scheduler (MVS)

A Scheduling module that has a consolidated interface encompassing several simultaneous views and enables schedulers to create and manage employee schedules. For more information, see the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Real-Time Self-Scheduler (RTSS)

A Scheduling module that allows employees to select shifts for their own schedule, managed by scheduling managers who work with the RTSS module and the MVS module. For more information, see the Infor WFM Real-Time Self-Scheduler Guide.

Rule

A schedule compliance rule validates the schedule data against the configured requirements. If the schedule data violates a rule, warnings or errors will occur. See Rules, Schedule Compliance Groups, and Core Rule Catalog.

Schedule Compliance

Schedule compliance validates any changes to a schedule against a set of configured rules. Administrators can configure schedule compliance rules and filters for their unique business situation. The rules and filters are configured in a central location. See Overview.

Shift trades

A scheduling module that allows employees to trade shifts with each other. For more information, see the Infor Workforce Management Shift Trades Guide.

Warning

A warning violation prevents the schedule or shift, depending on the scheduling module you are using, from being published. Schedulers can approve the warning or resolve the warning by changing the schedule.
