Shifts
For a schedule bid shift, you must identify a set of shifts from which the employees can choose to bid. Shifts are a set of time periods in which an employee is expected to work and are typically associated with a particular job. For example, an opening shift for a retail facility could be working as a clerk from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Shifts are defined as part of the Scheduling module. For more information about shifts, see "Scheduling" in the Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.
When associating shifts to a schedule bid, you must indicate the number of positions that are required for a particular shift.
For the shifts to be used, you must set the Schedule Bidding Method field to in the schedule bid.
