Bid closing

After you close a bid, it cannot be re-opened. You should close the bid only after all employees in the bid group have bid on the schedule, unless you intend to close the bid prematurely. After a bid is closed, it becomes inactive in the system.

While you cannot re-open a closed bid, you can select this menu path to re-open the bid:

Maintenance > Optional Modules > Schedule Bidding > Schedule Bid Setup

The bid must be in one of these states before it can be closed:

• OPEN
• PAUSE

From the closed state, you can perform these actions:

• Assign shifts or shift patterns.
• Delete bid.
• Notify assignments.
