Creating a prompt page for the complex report
Create a prompt page containing prompts for the report parameters.
- Click Report > Prompt Page.
- Click Page design.
- Click inside the first row of the table and click ... > Insert > Rows below.
- Specify 2 and click OK.
- Click Toolbox and drag the Text Item into the first row of the table.
- In the Text window, specify Store: and click OK.
- Expand Prompting and then drag the Select & search prompt object into the second row of the table.
- In the Prompt Wizard - Select & Search Prompt window, select the Use existing parameter option and then select the Store parameter from the drop-down box.
- Click Next.

Select the Create
new query check box and then specify this information:
- Name
- Specify SelectStore.
- Values to use

Displays the value for the
Store
parameter value that was defined earlier. Leave the default value, which is[Scheduling].[Store].[SKDGRP_ID]
. - Values to display
- Click …, select Ad-Hoc Query Layer > Scheduling > Store > Store Name, and click OK.
- Click Finish.
- Add a Text Item object to the third row of the table and specify Start Date:.
- Add a Date Prompt object to the fourth row of the table and select the Use existing parameter option.
- Select the Start Date parameter from the drop-down box and click Finish.
- Add a Text Item object to the fifth row of the table and specify End Date.
- Add a Date Prompt object to the fourth row of the table and select the Use existing parameter option.
- Select the End Date parameter from the drop-down box and click Finish.
