Loading the float pool

The Float Pool Zone is used to manage employees that are assigned to a float pool unit. One or more units can be selected as float pool units in the Selection Criteria pop-up. The Float Pool Zone displays any employees that are assigned to shifts on the float pool units during the selected time range. These employees can be floated to shifts in the Schedule Zone. This can be used to fill gaps in coverage for other units.

It is important to note that the list of employees displayed in the Float Pool Zone is based on the details of the employees' assigned shifts, rather than the details in their employee profiles. For example, an employee has the FLOAT POOL unit as their home team in their employee profile, but they are assigned to a shift for the CARDIO unit during the currently displayed time range. The employee would not be displayed if the FLOAT POOL unit is selected in the Float Pool Zone.
