Time codes
Time codes represent the type of activity performed during a given time period. Each period of an employee's work time is represented by a time code. These time codes will have pay-related implications. The time codes are usually determined as part of the initial requirements gathering or discovery sessions that are conducted before the application is installed.
Activities are associated with time codes. Activities can only have one time code, however, time codes can have many activities.
While MVS uses the same time codes as Time and Attendance, some additional time codes must be created. Shift swapping and relief time codes are required.
