Creating presets

Use this procedure to create your personal presets for the Preset field in the Schedule Selection panel of the ASV.

  1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Enhanced Schedule View > Advanced Schedule View.
  2. Specify this information:
    Unit
    Select a unit to view. A unit is a team. To select multiple units, select the check box for each unit.
    Employee
    Select employees to view. You can select employees instead of or in addition to the unit. To select multiple employees, select the check box for each employee.
    Schedule Period
    Select a schedule period.

    The schedule period is defined on the Team page.

    Start Date and End Date
    If a schedule period was not selected, select the first date and the last date of a date range.
  3. Optionally, select one or more display options.
  4. Optionally, select one or more filters under Filters.
  5. Optionally, select a sort order for the results of the schedule selection.
  6. Click Load to load the schedule.
  7. Expand the Schedule Selection panel, and click Save as Preset. The Preset Definition window is displayed.
  8. Specify a name for your preset.
  9. Specify filters, sorts, and dates for your preset in the other available fields.
  10. Click Save.

    Your new preset is now available in the drop down in the Preset field. See Using presets for displaying schedules in ASV.
