In an OTS template or an MR that has
previously been activated, skills can be added to new row versions. Skills added to a
row version become requirements for employees assigned to the row during the effective
dates of the row version.

Edit an MR, or edit an OTS that is based on the OTS template
you would like to edit.

Click Edit
Template to enter row version editing mode.

Create a new row version or open a row version that is in the
DRAFT status:
- To create a new row version, right-click inside the
Employee
column for the row you would like to edit and select . Specify
the effective dates for the row version and click Create.
- To open a row version that is in the DRAFT status,
right-click inside the Employee column for the row you would like to edit and
select . Click Load next to the row version you
would like to edit.

Click inside the Employee column of the row where you would like to add the
skill.
The Assignment and Labor
Metrics panel is displayed.

Select the Skills tab.

Specify the skill you would like to add from the Skill field.

Select the Mandatory check box to make the skill requirement mandatory for
employees assigned to the row.

Specify the proficiency level that employees must meet or
exceed for the skill in the Proficiency field.

Click Add
Skill.

Right-click inside the Employee
column and select Save to save the
row version.
The skill is added to the row version and is
applied to the MR schedule or OTS template once the row version is activated.
You can edit an existing skill by clicking on
the skill, updating the skill details, and then clicking Update Skill. You can delete a skill by clicking
the garbage can icon.
