Viewing the outstanding vacancies
Unassigned shifts (outstanding vacancies) can be identified while staffing a Master Rotation or One time Schedule, and sent directly from the Schedule Template.
All unassigned shifts can be viewed in the Advanced Schedule View. See Displaying schedules with ASV.
- Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Relief Management > Relief Queue.
- Select the Team or Employee.

Specify this information:
- Schedule Period
- Select the schedule period that you want to
view.
The default is Current Week. You can also view unassigned shifts on a weekly basis using the Last Week or Next Week options.
When using the Current Schedule Period, Last Schedule Period, or Next Schedule Period options, the selected employees or teams must have the same schedule period.
If you select Manual Date Range, you must specify valid dates in the Start Date and End Date fields.
- Start Date and End Date
- If you selected Manual Date Range for the schedule period, select the date range that you want to view.
- Start Time and End Time
- Optionally, specify a time range.
- Incl. Full Blocks
- Optionally, select this check box to display the full shift blocks.
- Status
- Select the status of the shifts that you want to view.
- Job
- Optionally, select the jobs to filter by.
- Shift Type
- Optionally, select the shift types to filter by.
- Click Go. A grid with all shifts that meet your criteria is displayed. All unfilled shifts are displayed with a colored background, usually yellow. The unfilled shifts are presented in the grid in groups of unfilled shifts called relief blocks. You can select individual shifts from a relief block when you want to assign only one shift.
