Budgeted HPPD

Budgeted Hours Per Patient Day (HPPD) stores the number of staff hours budgeted for a unit. Budgeted HPPD specifies the total budgeted number of hours for all jobs in a unit for a single 24-hour day. The budgeted HPPD for a unit is divided by the unit's actual HPPD to calculate the Productivity in the KPI panel.

A date range is specified for the Budgeted HPPD. This allows the budgeted HPPD for each unit to be updated on an annual or other regular basis. Budgeted HPPD can also be changed to react to changes in the unit that occur outside the schedule for budget updates, such as changes in the number of beds.
