Canceling booked off shifts

Canceling booked off shifts in MVS reverses the booked off conditions and returns the shifts to their previous state. As well, any shifts that were sent to relief for the booked off shifts are also managed during the cancellation process.

There are some cases where booked off shifts cannot be canceled directly. The booked off state must be undone recursively. These cases can develop when part of the shift is no longer worked by the relief employee due to shift swaps, floats, or further book-offs.
