Overriding day parts
Child teams that are using the same shifts as a parent team (via subscription) have the option to use a different day part definition. For example, a parent team can use a 12-hour day part definition, and a child team can use a more granular 6-hour day part definition. You can override the day part associations of a subscribed shift for child teams, yet keep the shift subscription and definition unchanged.
The same shift continues to be available in the child team, but the shift behaves differently from a schedule coverage measurement at the parent team and child team. This difference in coverage measurement can be seen in the Master Rotation, One-time Schedule, and Advanced Schedule View.
