Creating presets
You can save the selected time range and selection parameters as a preset that you can open when you want to manage the same schedule in the future.
- Open Central Staffing and select the schedule selection parameters that you would like to save. At least one unit must be selected in the Schedule Zone before a preset can be created.
- Optionally, select the desired float pool selection parameters to save the float pool selection parameters in the preset.
- Click Load.
-
Click the Add Preset button (+
icon).
The Preset Definition pop-up opens and displays the currently selected time range and the units selected in the Schedule Zone and Float Pool Zone.
- Specify this information:
- Preset Name
- Specify a name for your preset.
- Date Offset
- Specify 0 if you want the preset to load the schedule for the current date when the preset is opened. You can specify a number of offset days if you want the preset to load the schedule for a date relative to the current date. For example, specify 1 to load tomorrow's schedule when the preset is opened, or specify -1 to load yesterday's schedule.
- Selection Parameters and Sort
- Select this check box to save the selection parameters and sort criteria for the Schedule Zone as part of the preset. If this check box is clear, the preset only saves the unit selections, time range, and date offset.
- Float Pool Selection Parameters and Sort
- Select this check box to save the options that are currently selected in the Float Pool Zone in the preset, including the float pool unit, selection criteria, and sort criteria. A float pool unit must be selected to use this option.
- Click Save Preset.
The preset is created and can be opened to load the saved
schedule options.
