Pay groups

Pay groups combine employees who share the same payroll characteristics. For example, they are paid at the same frequency and by the same payroll system. The objective of the pay group is to group employees together according to similarities in the ways they are paid. Every employee in the application must be assigned to a payroll group. Employees not paid through the application should be assigned to a payroll group that is not be exported to an external payroll system.
